The Journalism and Women Symposium (JAWS) supports the professional empowerment and personal growth of women in journalism and works toward a more accurate portrayal of the whole society. They do this at our Conference and Mentoring Project, through our fellowship programs and at regional gatherings.
For over 30 years, Chicago Abortion Fund (CAF) has provided financial support to people needing assistance paying for an abortion. CAF boldly affirms a woman’s right to choose whether to parent or not. That right should not be determined because of age, race, marital status - and most importantly, economic status. CAF supports reproductive justice.
